OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATIONPHOTO SHOOT FOR SOUVENIR PROGRAM We will be taking full color pictures of each of the groups, duets and soloists performing in the Nutcracker Sweet for our Souvenir Program. The Photo Shoot will take place in early November at West End Academy of Dance. Dancers will wear costumes for the pictures. Please have your child wear blush, mascara and lipstick for the Photo Shoot.
The Souvenir Program is a high-quality, full color, keepsake publication showcasing the students performing in this year's Nutcracker Sweet. Last year, the Souvenir Program was a big hit with the students as well as audience members, and the performers autographed copies of the program for each other and the audience after each performance. In addition to pictures of each cast member in his/her roles and groups, the program will include student artwork and personal Well Wishes, which can be purchased by relatives, family and friends. HOW TO ORDER ADDITIONAL SOUVENIR PROGRAMS PLEASE NOTE: All dancers will receive one Souvenir Program as a keepsake of their participation in this year's production: these do not require a pre-order. NO SOUVENIR PROGRAMS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AT THE SHOWS THIS YEAR. Therefore, if you wish to purchase additional programs, you must pre-order them.
If you desire to purchase additional copies of the Souvenir Program, pre-orders for the Souvenir Program are due at the studio by November 12, 2011. This includes orders for Well Wishes, which are brief personal ads that will be printed in the Souvenir Program. Pre-ordered programs will be available for pick-up at the door at the beginning of each performance. PERSONAL ADS An order form for Well Wishes will be available in the studio offices during October. Well Wishes orders are due at the same time as the pre-orders for the Souvenir Program. TICKETS All tickets are general admission, and seating is first come, first served. Adult tickets (age 12+) will be $15. Child/Senior tickets will be $10. New this year, we are offering group sales. A minimum of 15 tickets must be purchased together to be eligible for the special group price of $10 per ticket. Tickets will be available for purchase in the studios, beginning in November. Tickets may be mailed if an order is sent pre-paid, with a self-addressed, stamped envelope. There will also be WILL CALL at the door for prepaid tickets. SWEETS PARTY Once again, this year, after each performance of the show, there will be a "Sweets Party," which will include refreshments and time to meet and greet the cast. Souvenir programs may be autographed at this time.
